Marvel Studios is inarguably busiest second leg film studio in Hollywood right now. They have more than two dozen films and almost a dozen Disney+ tv series in production and planning. This gigantic connected cinematic universe is the work of Marvel’s think tank spearheaded by Marvel Studios’ president Kevin Feige.
In his recent interaction with journos at Eternals Red Carpet Premier, Kevin Feige talked about the film and how they are going to honor Jack Kirby with this film.
“The whole movie is a love letter to what one man was able to do with a pencil, sitting at a little desk on the East Coast. The other day I was like, ‘How cool that I live in the timeline where William Shatner went to space in real life? One of the bummers, you could argue there are many, of the current timeline that we live in, is that Jack Kirby passed before he got to see any of this,” Feige told THR.
When asked about THAT scene at the end of the second installment of Venom which is based on Marvel comic characters but is owned by Sony, directed by Andy Serkis who previously played a key role in multiple Marvel films, Feige said:
“There was a lot of coordination - and if you don’t know all the coordination yet, I’m not going to be the one to tell you - but yes, between Sony and Marvel and the Venom team and the No Way Home team. We worked together on it.”
Multiverse which the Marvel is exploring has given fans what they demanding previously, crossover of Sony-verse and MCU. We will have to wait and see how Sony and Marvel will explore this crossover. One this is for sure, Spider-Man is going to lock heads with his infamous nemesis Venom very soon.
